Our program is designed to kickstart your career as a scientist-practitioner.

To better become skilled in both science and practice, our students are required to complete an independent, original research thesis and a 300-hour internship requirement. Seminar classes discuss the science behind the research as well as its connection to data-driven workplace solutions.

Our program is a full-time program. To support focus on your studies, we are able to offer most students a 20 hour/week assistantship (usually a teaching assistantship).

Our faculty have PhDs in I-O psychology/quantitative psychology, present at conferences and publish research in peer-reviewed journals. Each student receives individualized attention from the faculty mentor who guides their thesis project.

Due to the small percentage of applicants who are admitted each year, our student cohorts are small and tight-knit. This adds to the intellectually stimulating environment of our program and provides a jump start to your networking in the field.

We have an excellent alumni network who give back to our program in many ways. Our speaker series often includes alumni who come back to tell us about their careers and experiences. We also have a listserv where alumni can share internships and job openings with current students and with one another.
